Libertarians: Extremist Republicans Without Caring for Social Issues

Libertarians: Advocates For Economic Freedom or For Economic Greed?

Libertarians have come to the spotlight when Libertarian Candidate Gary Johnson got on the ballot and won about 11 to 13 % of the vote in the presidential elections in 2016. Many people both Democrats and Republicans have gotten disillusioned with their respective parties and feel that the Libertarian Party better fits their views on economic and social issues.

Here is a summary of what the Libertarian Party is about; It was founded in 1971 during the Nixon Administration's handling of the Vietnam War, the Draft and the end of the Gold Standard. the Libertarians view of the world is non-interventionist meaning that they want to have complete and total freedom to do what they want when they want and they are strong advocates of laissez-faire capitalism, the promotion of civil liberties and the abolishment of state welfare and the right to bear and carry arms.

Here is my issue with the Libertarian Party and Libertarians, they have a few things that are alright but they go way too far in many areas, for example they believe laissez-faire which means that people want complete control of how they do economic decisions and make decisions based on what they want, the problem with that is it creates more poverty and inequality because Libertarians believe that you have to take care of yourself and pay your own way if you don't too bad your own and nobody helps you and they don't believe in taxation for social programs or services, then how would roads get fixed, who would pay the police or the fire department or the post office?

Libertarians believe that the welfare state should be abolished its not their problem for the social safety net, not everyone will be able to work because of disability or when they get closer to retirement age meaning if for whatever reason people the workers didn't put enough away or they get sick and couldn't continue working due to health issues they are screwed and on their own because they wouldn't have access to services that they need to survive and make their lives a little bit easier. Same with with single parents with children if the parent mother or father has to work two or three jobs to make ends meet it still won't be enough to cover their basic necessities and people that don't have enough money for food won't have any type of assistance for food because these services won't exist.

They also believe that they can do whatever they want with production and pay the workers whatever they want and if they feel like it they can fire and replace their workers with people from third countries to save money and increase their profits and they are against a living wage, providing benefits or holiday and sick days for their workers claiming that its too much money and it will be too costly to do, its a very selfish way of thinking that their bank accounts and themselves are more important then the workers that keep them in business and make them money that's not how you create an economy or keep it going.

Lastly Libertarians are corporate fascists that pander to the business elite and bringing the state and corporation together and they are strongly anti-communist and anti-democracy and they are only for their own agendas and promoting selfishness and greed on behalf of its members believing that if you can't make it too bad its your own fault and your a failure in society and its nobody's fault but your own. Its no different than Charles Darwin's theory of "Survival of The Fittest" Only the Strong Survive and the Weak Perish its not a real or good solution to the two party system its actually a more dangerous party because it promotes, corporatism, nepotism and nihilism.

Saudi Arabia: Road to Reform and Modernity

Prince Muhammed Bin Salman: Reformer and Modernizer

People think of Saudi Arabia as a country where religion is the main purpose of life and a country that exports a lot of oil to the world. Saudi Arabia is the world's largest exporter of crude oil and is home to Islam and the custodian of the two holy cities of Islam, Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia is also the only country in the Muslim world were there is no freedom of religion and women cannot drive or leave the home without a male relative or husband and people are segregated by gender.

Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is the younger generation of Saudis that is in tune with the modern world and knows how the modern world functions, he is a man of vision and integrity and he wants to rid Saudi Arabia of Corruption and Extremism which Saudi Arabia has gotten a bad name for because of Osama Bin Ladin and Al-Qaida.

The Prince is very aware that in order for Saudi Arabia to compete in the global market and be truly part of the world economy and the world, changes need to be done in order for the country and its people to succeed. Saudi Arabia needs to change and transform itself if it wants to survive and for its people to thrive. One of the reasons why many young Saudis join Al-Qaida and other Terrorist organizations is the lack of opportunities, no free speech, no freedom of assembly and most importantly no representation in government which currently Saudi Arabia doesn't have.

He also wants to private and diversify the economy and reduce its dependency on oil exports, he also wants to open many sectors to be open to foreign investment and to create a modern city called "Neom" which is a Economic Zone between Africa, Asia and Europe. This radical reformation is actually going to save Saudi Arabia from collapsing and from the country going into civil war from within.

Saudi Arabia can be a main player in bringing true peace to the Middle East and the Prince has expressed having a relationship Israel and establishing relations with the State of Israel and bring a real solution to the two state agreement. If Saudi Arabia is to have true peace and a true democracy and have a healthy and happy society they need to change and make these reforms in order to ensure its survive in the next 40 years.
